Run-length compression

Compress repeated characters: compress("aaabccdddd") → "a3b1c2d4". Each run of the same character becomes the character followed by its count.

Examples

compress('aaabccdddd')
→ 'a3b1c2d4'

compress('abc')
→ 'a1b1c1'
